Phaedrus Systems, the UK specialist in the support of engineers at all stages of embedded safety-critical and high-integrity projects, is now able to supply and support the IXXAT data communication technology products from HMS Industrial Networks AB.

"Following the receivership of Nohau UK Ltd, some of our customers have been looking for a source for IXXAT products," said Chris Hills, CTO of Phaedrus Systems. "We are pleased to be able to add this high quality technology to our portfolio of specialist tools."

IXXAT is a brand name of the HMS group, and has been long known as one of the leading suppliers of data communication technology for the industrial automation and automotive industries. The IXXAT range offers software and hardware solutions for CAN (CANopen, DeviceNet & J1939), a number of industrial Ethernet standards (EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Powerlink, PROFINET & IEEE 1588), FlexRay and LIN. The IXXAT CAN solutions include network elements (repeaters, bridges, etc), interfaces to other communications protocols (USB, PCI, PROFINET, Bluetooth etc), software stacks and analysis tools.
