11th International CAN Conference (iCC) Program Available

Conference in Stockholm on latest developments in CAN sponsored by CAN in Automation (CiA)

Erlangen, Germany, June 14, 2006 -- CAN in Automation (CiA) has released the program for the 11th international CAN Conference, September 26-28. More than 20 white papers are scheduled at the conference of cutting edge CAN-developments; topics are for example the CAN system design and implementation as well as software tools to configure CAN networks. A number of papers covers vehicle applications, others discuss time-triggered CAN communication. Also introduced will be gateway technologies and scientific research. Furthermore the conference features papers on the physical CAN layer, and on applications in special environments such as aircrafts or subsea vehicles.

Experts from all over the world and from the most diversified application areas have met for the last twelve years at this international event, which is going to take place in Stockholm, Sweden this time around. The conference is unique in its target group and offers visitors the possibilities to become acquainted with the latest developments in Controller Area Network. It is also a platform for exchanging experiences internationally with experts from related work fields.

The two-day conference is preceded by a one-day workshop event. The workshops provide the possibility of gaining practical experiences with CAN in small groups; here visitors can acquire basic knowledge in Controller Area Network.

The conference language is English, all papers and workshops are held in English. Accompanying to the conference is a table-top exhibition of CAN products.
